Concerts, Concerts, Concerts! With so many amazing artists touring right now, it's hard to keep track! From jam bands, country, alternative, rock, hip hop, or reggae, I've got you covered! Whether you're looking to just spend a night in your favorite city, take a few-night run, or go on a full-blown tour, I can help you with all your travel plans so you can get the most out of your concert experience! Let's get you to the show, and have a blast! Ready to start planning? Hit the "Let's Do This" button, and let's get started!
Do you have a group of friends who want to stay at the same hotel and see some live music together? Let me help make it all come together! I can make sure you all end up at the same hotel and can even arrange the travel to and from the concert. It'll be a blast! Let's make it happen! Hit the "Let's do this!" button to learn more!
I usually don't handle the concert-ticket end of things because Ticketmaster usually has that covered - they've become the ticket mafia! That said, I can usually get tickets, but they would be at a markup through a trustworthy 3rd party seller and you might still need a Ticketmaster Account to receive them. But don't worry, I'm here to help - I can hold your hand and help you set up a Ticketmaster account so you can be on your way to the concert in no time! If ticketing isn't through Ticketmaster, then even better! Just reach out!
If you're feeling a bit overwhelmed by the ticket purchase process, just hit the "Let's Do This" button and I'll be your personal ticket fairy - and get you ready to rock and roll!
Here are a few tips I have learned over the years from my hundreds (or thousands) of concert travel experiences!
- Don't leave home without your tickets! Even though things are mostly on phones these days, please make sure you can access the tickets ahead of time!
- If you are flying to your concert, make sure to give yourself at least one day in advance of the show to arrive. Nothing ruins a concert like missing the concert!
- Never buy tickets from strangers! There are plenty of scammers out there who are just waiting to take advantage of you. Don't fall for it.. Which brings me to...
- Always buy tickets from the official band or music festival site. They will point you to the correct ticketing outlet where you will get the best price and be assured of authentic tickets. Yes, sometimes the ticket fees suck, but so does being told you have a counterfeit ticket and can't go into the show...
- Make sure to check with the venue ahead of time on what is allowed in, what size bags, chairs etc. It's much better to be prepared than get to the front of the line to get in and be told you have to take something back to your car.
- Don't wait until the last minute to go to the show... You might get stuck in bad traffic or long lines and miss part of the show.
- Don't assume the concert will start late. If you show up late and they are already on stage playing, they didn't start early, you were late and that's on you.
- Plan your way there and back in advance! I can help arrange travel to and from hotels. If you Uber, make sure to line one up for the way home if you know what time the concert will end. When you can, walk!
- Pace yourself people! You don't want to be one of those people who ruin their concert experience by having a little too much to fast. Have fun, yes! Just don't over do it. You might not only ruin your own concert experience, but your friends who need to take care of you as well. You probably saved up money and spent a long time anticipating this trip, so don't ruin the experience on something stupid. Which brings me to...
- Stay hydrated! Especially at summer music festivals where it can be really hot and shade can be limited. Drink water, find some shade, and chill out for a few! Many venues will let you bring in a refillable water bottle and have water filling stations! Take advantage of them.
- Enjoy the music (and let those around you enjoy it too). Nothing makes me more infuriated than spending a lot of money on a concert and having the people around me chatting (loudly) the entire time. Have fun with your friends, yes! And it's okay to talk here and there, but if you are going to have an extended conversation, there are plenty of places to do this other than the second row of a GA show. Just sayin...
